In an Israeli hospital waiting room, Hussien a Palestinian 48 (Palestinians with Israeli Citizenship)  accompanies his newly widowed mother Rashida  to her medical appointment. While Hussien works on his deadline for academic research on his laptop, Rashida, who has not been out of her house for three months tries to socialize with others in her limited Hebrew.
